Planning your next moose hunting? Put our 20+ years of experience to work for you. Our air base is situated five miles north of Cochrane, Ontario. The 30+ remote wilderness lakes we operate on are 42 - 98 miles from our base. With so many lakes to choose from and the limited number of adult tags we receive, a party is never stuck on an over-hunted lake. Many lakes are used only for hunting. All of our lakes lie within Wildlife Management Unit 26. The resident hunt begins September 18th, 2010. The non resident hunt begins September 20th, 2010. We are flexible on arrival and departure dates with most hunting trips lasting from 5 - 7 days. Most parties will fly in the day before the hunt starts to get settled in and orient themselves with their lake.
Let us give you the red carpet treatment. Our American Plan Hunts include an experienced local guide, groceries and flyin out of your kill(s). Our substantial grocery list consists of steaks, pork chops, burgers, bacon, eggs etc. Please remember, however, that the guide is there primarily to help in getting your moose. Everyone is responsible for camp chores.
The Regular Plan Hunt offers the opportunity to do your own guiding and bring your own food. One thing to remember with the Regular Plan Hunt is that having your kill flown out is not included. The charge for this will depend greatly on the distance your lake is from the air base. Please ask for details.
